Thank you Coach Edgardo for your work with my daughter, Samantha! She trained with Coach Edgardo this summer prior to traveling to Argentina for a trial with the U-20 national team. Coach Edgardo worked with her on both technical and tactical aspects of her game. In addition to time spent on the field , he also analyzed film and provided feedback for improvement. Last week, Samantha helped the Argentina U-20 National Team advance to the knockout stage of the World Cup for first time in their history. Coach Edgardo worked with my daughter this summer after her first year playing division 1 college soccer. He did an amazing job analyzing and improving technical aspects of her game. He additionally spent an extraordinary amount of time working with her on the mindset necessary to play at the highest level. Coach Edgardo is completely invested in the program . Coach Edgardo continuously exhibits second to none attention to the athletes he trains. He devotes a large amount of time to both their physical and mental fitness. There are other attributes & acumen as a Coach that are also commendable:

– competency in developing technique (i.e backspin or fixing the player’s form)

– execution time: speed to action & decisions both on and off the ball

– analyzing player style to benefit individual players with different strengths

When we first met Edgardo we heard great things from other parents, but even with high expectations we were so impressed with his coaching and teaching style. My daughter’s technical skills greatly improved, but so did her confidence and love of the game. We feel really lucky for having had the opportunity to train with Edgardo and 1991TFA.

Coach Edgardo does a great job training your athlete, whether they are just starting out or are already playing at a high level. He engages your athlete at personal level so he can establish trust with them and gain buy in to his training program. Coach Edgardo assesses where in the skillset continuum your athlete is and creates a program to build on that and create greater confidence in your soccer player’s game. I can speak from first hand experience seeing my son develop from a third or fourth team caliber player to now playing on an EC level team. My son see’s the game develop with better clarity, plays with greater confidence, not to mention with greater speed and urgency that is needed to play at higher levels.
