Samantha Weiss, one of our brightest stars, has been offered an incredible opportunity to trial with Argentina’s National Team. This invitation is a monumental milestone, not only for Samantha but for our entire academy. It is a reflection of her hard work, dedication, and the world-class training she has received under the expert guidance of Coach Edgardo Becerra.

A Journey of Dedication and Excellence

Samantha’s journey began the day she decided to buy a plane ticket to be seen and trained by Coach, Edgardo Becerra on the fields of San Diego, where her talent and passion for soccer quickly became evident . From her days at 1991 Total Football Academy, she demonstrated an exceptional ability to learn, grow, and excel in the sport however her impenetrable mindset is what stood out the most . Under Coach Becerra’s tutelage, Samantha honed her skills, developed her strategic understanding of the game, and nurtured the mental toughness required to compete at the highest levels.

Her dedication paid off when she received an invitation to practice at the prestigious “Predio Lionel Andres Messi,” the training ground for all of Argentina’s national teams. This facility is named after one of the greatest soccer players of all time, Lionel Messi, and is a place where dreams are turned into reality for many aspiring soccer stars.

Rapid Ascent to the National Team

In just three short weeks, Samantha’s talent and hard work were recognized, and she was called up to join Argentina’s Senior National Team as she was only there to tryout for the under 20 National team squad. This remarkable achievement speaks volumes about her abilities and the quality of training she received at our academy. Being selected for the national team is a dream come true for any soccer player, and Samantha’s inclusion in the lineup against Uruguay for the exhibition game on the 9th of July is a testament to her extraordinary talent and potential.
